You can create a new page easily without having to wade through all the help pages as follows:
Register and log in.
Click "Create content" in the left column menu.
Choose "Page" to create a simple informative page or "Story" for a page that accepts comments. Other page types are available and work similarly.
Enter your Title, Keywords, and Body content in the fields provided.
You may send emails to other members by clicking on the member's name or image in one of their posts, or on the User List. This will bring you to their user profile page where you can then click on the Contact link. Fill in the resulting email form and it will be sent without revealing your email address or the recipient's.
The Contact item in the top menu brings you to a similar form for emailing the site administrator. Use this to ask questions, offer suggestions, or whatever feedback you wish to offer.
Some Posting Guidelines
Once you know how to create a page and place it in a Book outline you can do just about anything. Then organization is the issue. Where do you place your page? How do you name Books? What if you want to reorganize your posts?
This is not your ordinary read-only website. After you register (click on Create new account at the left—it's free) you can add your own content, create a blog, comment on existing content, and much more when you know how. And it's actually pretty easy to learn.
Bonding: by Kathryn KingUse the Search box at the right to look for anything on the site. Click on the Search button with the search box empty to get the Advanced search.
Crestone Rainbow: by Rick KingIf you click the Upload button you will get a window for setting up an Image page under your user name and a Choose File button to get a form for uploading the image to your image library from your hard drive. It is advisable to have the image prepared ahead of time at the proper size and minimum adequate resolution for uploading. A maximum width of 500 pixels and jpeg quality 3-5 is recommended. If you don't know what that means, try to keep the image file size under 50K.

When you are ready to create a Book start by creating its first page. Since this is usually a description of the book and other stable information you will generally want to use a Page container which by default doesn't allow comments, or a Story container if you want to allow comments on this top page. You can always change the Comment settings later if you change your mind.

To register click the Create new account button in the left sidebar, enter a user name of your choosing and your email address in the designated fields. Then click Create new account. A one-time password will be emailed to you at the address given. Use it to log in, then click My Profile, then click Edit at the top of the window, and enter your own password in the place provided.

The blog feature allows every registered user to maintain an individual online weblog (commonly known as a blog), often referred to as an online journal or diary. Blogs are made up of individual posts that are time stamped and are typically viewed by date as you would a diary. Blogs often contain links to webpages users agree or disagree with.
