Turnip Patch

My husband Kelly and I came back to Crestone about a month ago, after over 4 years living by Lake Chapala, outside Guadalajara, in central Mexico. We had developed a number of friendships, of both Mexicans and expats, but I never stopped missing Crestone.

Why? I think it's because of the sense of community here. Kelly and I were here for 10 years before our Mexican experiment.

I am curious to see whether the Turnip Patch and other online groups will develop to be a significant part of how people here connect with each other.

Since our exploratory meeting at Jodi Tucker's Turnip Patch development has been pretty low key except for the index card boxes Jodi came up with and installed at Shambala. Last time I checked they were being used. I hope to create some nice color graphics for them when I get time. Jodi, Gussie Fauntleroy and I will be meeting soon to carry on.
